Who is the Summit designed for?
This program is for owners and senior managers from any type of small business from services to food service and restaurants, solo owner/operator and businesses with up to a dozen or so employees. Even home-based business leaders can benefit

Why two parts to the day?
The day begins with the Summit, several hours of training and education conducted mostly in Spanish, and concludes with a reception/mixer and over 20 table top exhibits from businesses and services that can be useful to you as a small business owner. The two parts are designed to give you a complete picture in the course of a half-day 1 PM to 8:30 PM.

Who are the presenters?
Each is a practitioner and in the field they are training on. Unlike many all-government agency executives-led conferences, this Summit is designed to hands-on training from people living this in their daily jobs. Every session is designed for question and answer but you can also meet with instructors one-on-one after the session for continued discussion.

What is the cost to attend?
The Summit is free, courtesy of many sponsors, El Mundo Boston and Innovation Studios. Not only is the Summit free to attend, there will be some giveaways and fun surprises throughout the day as well.

What language is the Summit in?
Primarily in Spanish, with some introductions and discussion in English. Translations are available both ways, as needed.

Is lunch included?
No. The Summit is fast paced and begins after lunch. There are restaurants and food trucks in the immediate area, if you want to grab a bite before you arrive.

Where is District Hall?
75 Northern Avenue, Boston MA 02210. Silver Line 1 and 2 run down below and access is easy from the Mass Pike (I-90) and I-93. Very limited street parking but several parking lots and garages are nearby. Reserve a space through an app like SpotHero to know price and location before you head in.

Can I attend the Summit part of the day and skip the expo?
Of course, but the expo is an opportunity to meet many of the presenters in person and carry on conversations from the workshop hours. The two parts of the day are designed to be enjoyed together.
